It’s that time again — the October Bird Fun Box by Alex is here, and it’s boo-tiful!
Halloween is one of my favorite times of the year to get creative with toys, and this month’s parrot toy set is all about spooky fun, bright colors, and lots of shredding and foraging.

👻 The Theme: Boo-tiful Birdie Box
This month, we wanted to celebrate Halloween with a box that’s equal parts spooky and fun. The Boo-tiful Birdie Box brings festive colors like orange, green, black, and purple to your bird’s playtime, a perfect match for the season!
The Toy Collection: Boo-tiful Play Collection
Our October handmade parrot toys feature ghosts and bats that were cut, sanded, and assembled right here by hand (and yes, our flock helped “test” them out ).
Each toy was designed to encourage bird enrichment through chewing, shredding, and foraging — because we know how important it is to keep your birds busy and happy.
The Boo-tiful Play Collection includes a fun mix of textures like vine, palm leaf, and colorful pine wood — all dyed with bird-safe colors and ready for beaks of all sizes.
The Treat: Veggie Rice Pilaf
This month’s healthy treat is Christine’s Chop Shop Veggie Rice Pilaf, a hearty blend of wild, red, brown, and purple rice mixed with beans and veggies.
You can sprinkle it over your bird’s chop for a little crunch or soak it for a warm fall snack. It’s flock-approved in our house!
